We will learn how to make royal icing decorated cookies FOUR ways!
Conversation Hearts! We will learn lettering technique with Edible Markers on pre-flooded cookies.
Wet on Wet technique – a great way to make beautiful looking cookies quickly!
Piping designs! - we will learn to pipe designs on pre-flooded cookies – borders, lettering, lace etc.
Stencils! Stencils! Stencils! Using precut stencils can wow your guests with great details! We will have several stencils available and will teach techniques for using royal icing and/or spray on color. This decorating technique is great for backgrounds and very fine detail that’s hard to achieve with just a piping bag!
We will provide recipes for Vanilla Sugar Cookies, Chocolate Sugar Cookies, Gingerbread and Royal Icing - with tips and suggestions for making any and all of these recipes Vegan and Gluten Free!
We’ll also discuss infusing royal icing with flavors from extracts and alcohol for a special treat.

We are thinking this post Thanksgiving meal should be lighter and easier with a flatbread bar.
We'll make the flatbread, saffron rice, veg and meat option, chutney and sauces, and you build it as you like. Finish off with a cardamom custard. BYOB and perhaps a song for us all to sing. $15/person

People of all faiths and no faiths are invited to join us as we all check our phones at the door and eat, drink, talk, share our thoughts, share our songs, and generally revel in the oldest and still greatest of all human pleasures — sitting around a table (or campfire) with friends.
The 22nd Annual Callicoon Tractor Parade kicks off with the noon whistle! Come for the tractors ... stay for the chicken barbecue on the Youth Center grounds after the big parade! Proceeds from the barbecue help us keep our facilities open for the youth of our community.
